Donnelly Stucco Company has, for four generations, maintained a reputation for excellence in the stucco industry. The Donnelly artistry was established in the 1920’s when founder Bill Donnelly began his trade as a plaster tender in Santa Monica, California, practicing with a Journeyman plaster at every opportunity. Bill realized the true meaning of the word “journeyman” when, at the age of 24, he and his wife Hannah moved through a succession of small towns searching for an opportunity to ply his trade.
After settling in Strausberg, N.D. the Donnelly’s began to look to Minneapolis as a more suitable location for a growing business concern. Bob Donnelly established the second generation in the business by converting a $50 loan into the founding investment for what would become Donnelly Stucco. Growing through the 1930’s and flourishing in the 40’s and 50’s, Donnelly Stucco developed a highly respected name in its field. In 1964, Bob sold the firm to his oldest son Tom.
The Donnelly family is justifiably proud of its accomplishments, in a profession that demands quality craftsmanship. Donnelly Stucco maintains the tradition of excellence which has made it a premier name in the industry. It is a name that residential customers have come to trust for over a half of a century.
